Pepper Tree Wines

Pepper Tree Wines are made under the stewardship of Jim Chatto, who joined Pepper Tree in March 2007. He has a depth of experience across all aspects of vineyard and winery management from the Hunter Valley, Yarra Valley, Tasmania, Hungary and France.

Jim was a Len Evans Tutorial Scholar in 2002 and is currently a regional, national and capital city wine show judge. Jim is responsible for all winemaking for the brand using fruit sourced from company owned vineyards in the Hunter Valley, Orange, Coonawarra and Wrattonbully.

The industry has been watching Jim for some time now and rightly so. He is a great winemaker with a proven track record, bright future and we are all excited that he has joined our team.
